Shorea Butter is a “Vegetable Butter” composed of three NATURAL butters: Shorea Stenoptera Butter, Organic Shea Butter* and Cocoa Butter.The characteristics of these natural compounds make it a product suitable for protecting, nourishing and regenerating, elasticising, firming and toning and deeply hydrating all skin types.Enriched with Natural Organic Oat Plant Extract*, Vegetable Glycerin and Organic Sweet Almond Oil* deeply hydrates and nourishes.Shorea has been further enriched with Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to enhance its renowned antioxidant and protective properties against free radicals.Its use is also indicated for the most delicate, sensitive and dehydrated skin and can also be used after permanent and semi-permanent make-up and for tattoos.For centuries, this natural plant extract has been used to treat skin problems, and we use it in our products to nourish, regenerate and give new vitality to the skin. Vegetable butter, free-flowing, light and easily absorbed, indicated for the cosmetic treatment of dry and dehydrated skin.It has a fairly light consistency and is absorbed quickly, but despite this it has excellent hydrating efficacy, the skin literally "drinks it up".It can be used on every part of the body and thanks to its very high hydrating potential it is suitable for all skin types, giving greater tone.In case of dryness and dehydration of the skin it is important to apply the product, even several times a day, massaging well until completely absorbed.Furthermore, this natural cosmetic is also very useful for softening the skin in the areas of the elbows and knees which is generally subjected to particular wear.Used regularly it promotes the optimal level of humidity on the epidermal surface, NON-GREASY, it works by nourishing and hydrating the skin, leaving it soft and perfumed.
Shorea Stenoptera: native tree of Borneo, belonging to the Dipterocarpaceae family. The butter is obtained directly from the fruit, it is rich in natural tocopherol, which helps to delay the processes of skin aging. Extremely MOISTURIZING, it preserves the skin from the physiological loss of liquids (water, fats and mineral salts), which are essential for firmness, density and skin firmness. Emollient in waxy form with a melting point close to body temperature, it rebalances dry-wet compatibility giving a sensation of silky, velvety and non-greasy skin. Given its amazing hydrating potential, the aborigines of Malaysia use it to protect themselves from the sun, on wounds and burns;
ORGANIC Shea Butter*: Certified Organic, it is very rich in vitamins A, B, E and F, has emollient, elasticising, hydrating, soothing, calming and protective properties. It helps preserve skin elasticity and compensate for the drying out of dry skin, it is also suitable for dermatitis, erythema, burns, redness;
Cocoa Butter: butter obtained from the seeds of the Theobroma Cacao, through hot pressing, after shelling and cleaning. Originating from Africa and the river valleys of South America, it has the great advantage of not containing hydrogenated fats, therefore it is extremely resistant to rancidity and keeps its physical characteristics unchanged over time. Contains natural antioxidants, especially Vitamin E which helps to soothe, hydrate, promotes collagen formation and prevents the formation of wrinkles. Furthermore, cocoa contains calcium, sodium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, vitamins B1 and B2 and PP which give it important emollient, hydrating and protective properties;
Vegetable Glycerin: it is hygroscopic and therefore has a humectant, emollient and highly hydrating action. It derives from raw materials of vegetal origin and, due to its purity, is also used in the food sector and is therefore particularly compatible with the skin surface.
Other biofunctional substances in Shorea Butter are:- Shea Butter Ethyl Esters: emollient oil ideal for any type of body lotions and creams, especially when combined with hydrating components. It pairs well with different types of active facial care ingredients such as creams and serums, making it easier to formulate products for sensitive skin and aging skin. It can be used alone or in combination with other esters, vegetable oils, oils and various skin care products;
- Propanediol: humectant and emollient, completely natural obtained from the fermentation of corn, GMO FREE, has strong hydrating properties;
- ORGANIC Sweet Almond Oil*: certified organic as it derives from organic farming, it is appreciated for having excellent penetration, a good protective and emollient level on the skin, during use it gives a refreshing sensation and immediate relief. Emollient, nourishing, hydrating, skin protective;
- Oat ORGANIC Plant Extract**: Used as an emollient and refreshing for dry and irritable skin, soothing and hydrating;
- Ascorbyl Palmitate: it is an ester of Vitamin C and performs a very important function: it keeps collagen active, a protein necessary for the formation of the skin's connective tissue and provides Vitamin C to the cells, it also protects the skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals ;
- Vitamin A: stimulates epithelial renewal and growth, has a powerful antioxidant effect, is able to counteract the skin's aging process and improves damage caused by external agents;
- Vitamin E: antioxidant, protects cells from free radicals, effective hydrator, improves the elasticity and softness of the skin;
