It has a trunk up to 12m tall, white flowers. The orange includes different species and varieties, among which the most widespread are the sweet orange (originally from China, it was introduced to Spain and Portugal at the beginning of the 16th century, subsequently spreading throughout the Mediterranean) and the bitter orange.
