Shopkeepers
If you have a shop, you are perfectly aware of how the public's purchasing methods are increasingly moving towards online purchases. Many fear that this trend will subvert the market as we know it today. Others believe that e-commerce is a fad fueled by sensationalist newspapers and that customers will always need their advice to make informed purchases. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle: you can't try a physical product via your computer or smartphone, but it is also true that a segment of customers find it more confortable (or convenient) to have the products delivered to their home rather than physically going to the store. But then why give up this market share? For a shopkeeper it is not an easy issue to overcome: if you rely on e-commerce platforms, margins are greatly reduced, developing platforms independently can become a costly investment with uncertain outcomes if you do not have the appropriate knowledge (and also anyone who says they have them very often... is lying!)
